Am I allowed to have a Virtual Assistant (VA) access my account?
Our policy on leveraging Virtual Assistants (VA) falls into two categories:
1) The usage by the VA is legitimate for a single user member (or Wellness Advocate)
If a VA is logging in to your One Drop account on your behalf, acting as you and only you, to download items for you and you alone – that would constitute correct usage of your One Drop account and not violate our User Terms.
2) The usage by the VA is violating the intent of single user license by sharing downloaded items with more than one leader for their use.
If a VA is logging in to your One Drop account, who is also a VA of other Wellness Advocates, and who uses a single One Drop account to download items and share items with other leaders – that is a violation of our User Terms.
Why is my VA getting excessive download notifications?
We have some automatic account moderation in place that will alert Subscribers who have exceeded the average amount of downloads during a given timeframe. To protect our Contributors, these system notifications are primarily meant for educating on the proper use of our service. The One Drop Fair Use Policy explains our ability to take action when suspicious download rates occur.
IP Address Notifications
Our system also moderates excessive IP address usage to prevent those who decide to take advantage of our service in an unethical way – typically in the form of a shared account across multiple leaders or Wellness Advocates. Our User Terms state that accounts are for single individuals only – meaning that at this time, we do not allow "team accounts" or shared logins.
